Practice the developer decisions the DVA-C03 exam tests, from Lambda, DynamoDB and event-driven code to IAM, encryption, CI/CD deployments and troubleshooting on AWS.
A Lambda function that keeps receiving the same SQS message until it lands in a dead-letter queue, a DynamoDB query that throttles on one hot partition key, a CodeDeploy rollout that reverts when an alarm fires: the AWS Certified Developer Associate (DVA-C03) exam asks you to read situations like these and pick the setting, API call or fix that resolves them. This exam-prep course teaches the mechanism behind each decision and then tests it with 650 original scenario questions in 63 quiz lessons, with an explanation for every answer option. Question counts follow the four exam domain weights of 30, 26, 22 and 22 percent.
You start with decoupled and event-driven code on SQS, SNS, EventBridge and S3 events, SDK calls with retries and backoff, API Gateway, Kinesis streams, Kiro and Amazon Bedrock, then move to Lambda configuration, error handling and event source mappings, and DynamoDB keys, indexes and capacity. The security chapters cover IAM policy evaluation, STS roles, Cognito, KMS envelope encryption, secrets and the controls that keep AI integrations safe. Later chapters prepare artifacts in ECR and AppConfig, test with SAM and CDK, deploy with CloudFormation, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline, and finish with root cause analysis, logging, X-Ray tracing and optimization.
Each lesson’s teaching text covers every question it asks, so a lesson works as one study session. The course suits developers with some hands-on AWS experience who are preparing for DVA-C03, and it teaches AWS behavior as documented in October 2026. This course is independent and is not an official AWS product; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Web Services.
